Senior Payroll Specialist (all genders)

• Master payroll: Independently run payroll processing for our employees in Germany
• Ensure compliance: Handle payroll in line with labor, tax, and social security regulations
• Coordinate interfaces: Act as the point of contact for colleagues, tax advisors, and authorities — including in an international context
• Own the data: Maintain and manage payroll-relevant data in our HR system, including reporting and certification processes
• Create transparency: Support internal audits and prepare reports for management and authorities
• Shape the future: Contribute to building our in-house payroll software — defining requirements, testing, and continuous optimization

• Completed training in payroll accounting, tax, or a comparable field
• At least 10 years of professional experience in payroll, ideally with international exposure
• Solid knowledge of German wage tax and social security law
• Proficient with payroll systems (e.g., DATEV, SAP HCM, BMD, or similar)
• Accuracy, discretion, and independent ownership at a senior level
• Excellent German and English skills
